Ramblings and Reflections of a New Teacher
During my teacher education training, I learned the invaluable practice of reflection. By recording my thoughts on different aspects of my student teaching assignment, I was able to review my experiences and learn from them. Now as a "real" teacher, I intend to follow the same precedent. Whether as a form of reflective professional development, or simply a need to vent and get it out there on "paper" to look at objectively, this blog is meant to record my experiences as a first year teacher. My daily observations and encounters will certainly be valuable as I continue to grow as an educator, and as a human being.
